Congratlutions to Genevieve Robertson on qualifying for the Age National Championships in Winnipeg later this month. She qualified as a nationally ranked swimmer in the 100M Breaststroke at the recent Junior Provincial Championship in Ottawa. Genevieve will now compete against the top girls in the entire country. Not to be outdone, Luke Lewis won the the Men's 14-15 year old Ontario Open Water Championship last week.  This was a nice recovery for Luke after suffering an unfortunate, accidental blow to the mouth during his 400M Freestyle event, also at the Junior Provincials in Ottawa. Well done to both you!  

I am thrilled to announce that we have had interest from 2 CAJ parents to join the Board for next season and step into the positions of Treasurer and Equipment Manager. Finally, thanks to everyone who came out to the year-end CAJ Family Picnic. We had another oustanding turnout and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Congratulations to all the year-end award winners - you were all very deserving recipients. Thanks so much to Keri & Rob Hutchinson (Keri for organising and Rob for his master grillsmanship) and a special shout-out to Colin Goheen for supplying the 2 commercial-sized BBQs and tanks.
